Service Agreement:
1 Completion of service is subject to signed agreement by the client signifying acceptance of the terms stated herein.
2 Free quotes apply to over-the-phone quotations only. The majority of problems can be identified in this manner. However, should the problem require further diagnosis (i.e. on-site investigation) a fee may be charged, dependent on locality and/or the extent of the problem.
3 If we identify a solution to your problem and you choose not to implement that solution, we have met our obligation to diagnose your problem and will require payment.
4 We do not offer credit. No further services will be provided until all outstanding monies have been received in full.
5 Notification of cancellation of service is required within four hours of scheduled appointment time or a $60.00 cancellation fee will apply.
6 If our technician arrives onsite and no one is available for the appointment, a service fee of $60.00 will apply along with an additional cancellation fee of $60.00 for failure to provide adequate notice.
7 Service charge commences from the agreed appointment time, even if the client is not present at that time.
8 As part of the booking process, your Credit Card details will be requested as confirmation of service. Your card will only be charged for failure to adhere to the abovementioned policies. If you do not possess a Credit Card, you will be invoiced for any surcharges incurred and payment must be made within 48 hours via Direct Deposit. Standard late payment charges apply.
9 Depending on your locality, a minimal call-out fee may be charged. More information can be obtained when booking a service with us.
10 Sydney Onsite Computer Services accepts no liability for loss of data. It is the responsibility of the client to backup all important data unless data backup is requested at the time of service. This is at additional cost to the customer.
11 SOCS assumes no responsibility for failure to read and adhere to these terms and conditions.
Windows 7 Promotion:
1 Prices stated are for a limited time and are available to both customers purchasing a new computer from Sydney Onsite Computer Services or those with an existing computer who wish to upgrade their current operating system.
2 Due to Microsoft licensing laws this software can only be installed by SOCS. It cannot under any circumstances be purchased separately.
3 Stated prices refer to the cost of the Operating System only. Upgrading of existing software, setup and assembly of new systems and backup of existing data is at additional cost to the customer.
4 SOCS can assess the suitability of the Windows 7 operating system for your current computer, however, please note that this will incur a service fee.
5 Strictly NO refunds on software.
6 This offer expires 31 June 2010.
SOCS AV Promotion:
1 SOCS-AV is a new service currently being trialled. Should it be successful, it will become a permanent service available to our customers.
2 This service is strictly limited to the setup and configuration of Audio Visual products only.
3 SOCS does not carry out wall-mount installations for LCD and Plasma televisions or other installations requiring the need for wall fixtures, electrical wiring etc. This includes but is not limited to the installation of exterior TV aerials. |
